Delete Your Account

This page applies to the ICD Tuning mobile app published on the Google Play Store by ICD Tuning, Chennai. If you created an account in our app, either yourself or during a workshop visit, you can request that your account and the personal data associated with it be permanently deleted.

1. How to Request Deletion

• Email: [email protected] with the subject line “Delete my ICD Tuning account”.

Please include the email address or phone number registered on your account so we can verify your identity. We may contact you once to confirm the request before deleting anything. Deletion is completed within 7 working days of verification, and we will confirm by reply once it is done.

2. What Is Deleted

When your request is processed, we permanently delete:

• Your login account (email and password)
• Your profile (name, phone number, saved preferences)
• Your saved vehicles (make, model, registration number, VIN, RC photos)
• Your bookings and service-tracking history in the app
• Photos of your vehicle taken during service (before/progress/after)
• Your notifications and in-app messages

3. What Is Retained, and for How Long

Some records must be kept for a limited period even after your account is deleted:

• Invoices and payment records: retained as required by Indian tax law (GST and Income Tax), for up to 8 years from the end of the relevant financial year. These are kept as accounting records only and are no longer linked to a usable app account.
• Workshop job records: anonymised after account deletion (your name, contact details and login are removed) and retained only for warranty and legal-compliance purposes.

No other personal data is retained, and retained records are never used for marketing.
